Gift Card Return Policy

The following Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Escape Gift Card of Escape Spa and Salon in Davenport, Iowa.

Escape Gift Cards may be treated the same as cash.
Escape Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash, nor can they be returned for a cash refund.
Escape Gift Cards’ cash value is 1/10 of one cent.
Escape Gift Cards/Certificates cannot be purchased with an Escape Gift Card.
Sales Tax is applicable on any merchandise purchased with an Escape Gift Card/Certificate.
Escape is not responsible for lost/stolen Exotic Escape Gift Cards/Certificates.
Escape Gift Cards do not expire. Escape Gift Cards are honored for dollar value only. So the customer is responsible for paying for price difference on services when prices change.
Escape Gift Certificates do have an expiration date written on them. Once expired, that certificate will only be honored for the cash value of the certificate. Gift certificates that are donated, auctioned off or sold at a discount will not be honored past the expiration date.
Lost and stolen gift cards are not replaceable and are non-transferrable.
An appointment using your gift certificate/card can only be made by providing the gift card number when making your reservations. Our cancellation policy does apply, and gift card/certificate will be charged those fees accordingly.
If you purchase a package, you cannot make substitutions for services. However, you can convert your gift card to a cash value and redeem your card for whatever services/ products you want. You are also allowed to pay the difference to upgrade your full-price service.
If the appointment made to redeem your gift certificate/card is not canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance, we will be unable to redeem your gift certificate for full value. You will be charged a 50% cancellation fee without notice.
Should you not wish to redeem gift certificate/card, you can use the treatment value towards retail items. Some retail items on shelves are excluded for purchase with gift cards/certificates because they are not the property of Escape Day Spa.

Cancellation Policy

Credit cards are required to reserve appointments. Because your spa and salon services are reserved for you, we ask that you provide at least 24 hour-notice in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule. A 50% deposit is required for All Packages, Warm Stone Massages, and Couples Massages. 100% of the deposit of services scheduled will be charged for cancellation less than 24 hours.

Cancellation fee is 100% on spa packages or 50% of a la carte service.

Retail Return Policy

We offer high-quality professional salon and spa products for your personal use. Unused products can be returned within 10 days of purchase for a refund or 21 days for in-spa credit when accompanied by an original receipt. No returns/exchanges without original receipt of after 21 days (December 31st if purchased during Christmas season, starting November 20th).

It’s the customers’ responsibility to make sure they get their cash receipts before leaving the spa with their products.

Escape Day Spa and Salon cannot accept returns on open cosmetics, skincare, nail care, sale items, "as is" items, and individual items

from a purchased set.

We serve water, tea, and coffee. However, you are allowed to bring your own alcoholic

drinks to enjoy during your session.
